We want to keep it as accurate as possible, but please, do not entirely rely on this list when buying a portable computer. QE (Model number is different everywhere! The BIOS says 5738, case says 5738Z, Store said AS5738:L) • Install Method: USB Memory key (8GB) + nawcom patch (for MBR) / Chameleon. Installed to external HDD and selected with F12 at boot • Bootloader: outdated version of Chameleon (new build fail for some reason) • Audio: Works with VoodooHDA though it forgets settings and Microphone is buggy though when it works it is fine for Skype etc. Sound ports work (i.e. Headphones) • Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 • LAN: Doesn't work OOTB; haven't tried kext (as it is not needed for me) • WiFi: Atheros card. Works OOTB with stock Lion • Graphics: 0x80862A42 so no QE/CI/OpenGL though Chameleon provides full resolution (1366x768) and I can't try any newer Chameleon builds due to them not starting Lion up for some reason.
HDMI doesn't work • Camera: Chicony (I believe). Works OOTB though it stutters due to lack of QE/CI in PhotoBooth etc. • FaceTime and iCloud: Not working as a newer version of Chameleon is necessary which doesn't work for me • Trackpad: VoodoooPS2TrackPad works with 2-finger scrolling • Battery: VoodooBattery works great • Sleep: I disabled as it isn't necessary for me • USB: One of the ports (out of four) is buggy but generally okay • Card Reader: Works.
