Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. Until 5:00 p.m., weekdays, Monday through Friday.
Applications for new, “non-controlled” business licenses are taken daily from 8:00 a.m. Until 4:45 p.m. At the Division’s office located in Room TL-100 (First Floor) City Hall, 710 North 20th Street, Birmingham, AL 35203. Applications for “controlled” licenses, such as alcoholic beverage, pool table, and dance licenses, are taken by appointment only.
